Additional server parameters for Azure Database for MySQL now available
Published date: June 12, 2019
Azure Database for MySQL customers can now tune additional server parameters to help optimize the MySQL engine to address their unique workloads. Now generally available, these parameters include many of the server parameters, such as "join_buffer_size", "query_cache_size", and "query_cache_limit", that users and the MySQL community have asked for most. In addition, these parameters include static parameters, which require customers to restart a server to apply. These parameters are available for configuration by using the Azure portal or the Azure CLI.
