Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8.9 is the latest minor release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8, which provides stability and security for production environments along with bug fixes and enhancements for improved performance and reliability. Announcing the public preview of Azure confidential VMs with Intel TDX
Microsoft is excited to announce the public preview of DCesv5 and ECesv5-series confidential VMs. These VMs are powered by 4th Generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors with Intel® Trust Domain Extensions (TDX). They enable organizations to bring confidential workloads to the cloud without code changes to applications and will be available starting December 1st.
Public Preview: Azure integration with Canonical’s Snapshot Service for safe deployment
Azure Guest Patching Service and Azure Kubernetes Service will now apply the same package update from a specific date to all regions following safe deployment principles.

Today, we’re excited to announce the expansion of our Confidential VM family with the launch of the DCesv5-series and ECesv5-series in preview. Featuring 4th Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors, these VMs are backed by an all-new hardware-based Trusted Execution Environment called Intel® Trust Domain Extensions (TDX). Organizations can use these VMs to seamlessly bring confidential workloads to the cloud without any code changes to their applications.
