Azure Store launches for direct Enterprise Agreement (EA) customers and channel partners
Last week we announced the expansion of Azure Store to customers and channel partners subscribed to Azure via a direct Enterprise Agreement (EA). Azure EA customers in North America and Europe can now purchase a range of application and data services from 3rd party providers through Store and have these subscriptions automatically billed against their EA. This is an important milestone for Microsoft, as this is the first time we are able to offer and bill for services from 3rd party sellers through a Microsoft volume licensing program. Pricing on Azure Store is set by the 3rd party sellers. Store purchases are not eligible for Microsoft’s volume licensing discounts and Azure monetary commitment balances cannot be used for Store purchases. Customers will be billed against their EA each quarter for all of their Store purchases on a separate, consolidated invoice. Please note that, at this time, Azure Store is not available to customers enrolled in Azerbaijan, Croatia, Norway and Puerto Rico. Access to Azure Store can be managed by your EA Azure enrollment administrators, by going to Manage Accounts and Subscriptions under the Accounts section in the Enterprise Portal, where they can disable or re-enable access to 3rd party purchases via Store.
