Azure Red Hat OpenShift

Today we’re pleased to announce the general availability of Azure Red Hat OpenShift on Microsoft Azure Government, combining world-class Azure infrastructure with a leading enterprise Kubernetes platform.

We’re excited to announce that Microsoft has joined the Eclipse Foundation Jakarta EE and MicroProfile Working Groups as an Enterprise and Corporate member, respectively. Our goal is to help advance these technologies to deliver better outcomes for our Java customers and the broader community.

We are committed to open source at Microsoft. We contribute to Linux, Kubernetes, Visual Studio Code, and serving in open source organizations like the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) or Open Source Security Foundation (OpenSSF).

Microsoft is excited to join Red Hat Summit 2021. During the event, we will share the latest developments that enable Red Hat customers to operate natively in Azure.

Today at Red Hat Summit 2018 in San Francisco, Microsoft and Red Hat will jointly demonstrate our OpenShift on Azure offering, the first fully managed and easiest to use version of OpenShift in the cloud.
