Azure Backup now supports selective disk backup and restore using Azure Virtual machine backup solution
Azure Backup now supports exclude-disk functionality where you get an option to backup one or a few from the many data disks in a VM. Each recovery point contains data of the disks included in the backup operation, which further allows you to have a subset of disks restored from the given recovery point during the restore operation. This provides an efficient and cost-effective solution for your backup and restore needs.
Azure Site Recovery now supports customer-managed keys
Azure Site Recovery now supports replication of Azure virtual machines that have managed disks encrypted with customer-managed keys.

Updating hardware generation in managed instance now available in Azure portal
Managed instance now provides the capability to update hardware generation from Gen4 to Gen5 from the pricing tier screen in the Azure portal.
Upgrade to new solution for Azure Monitor for virtual machines
The new solution for Azure Monitor for VMs will soon be available in all regions. This update will provide richer monitoring functionality and map data sets for Service Map customers. Once it’s available in your region, it’ll be necessary to upgrade to the new solution in order to continue using Azure Monitor for VMs.
Azure Backup—Soft delete for SQL Server in Azure VM and SAP HANA
Azure Backup now provides soft delete for SQL Server in Azure Virtual Machines and SAP HANA in Azure Virtual Machines workloads along with the already supported Azure Virtual Machines soft delete scenario.

New Azure Lighthouse features are now generally available, including a built-in role for managed service providers to opt out of managing delegated scopes and the ability to Azure Resource Graph to query across tenants.

Azure DevOps—Release and pipelines events now available in the audit logs
In the Sprint 163 update of Azure DevOps, release and pipelines events have been added to the audit logs. In addition, service connections can now be used to reference repositories in another organization in a YAML pipeline.
New support for Network Security Group flow logs, a feature of Azure Network Watcher
Network Security Group (NSG) flow logs, a feature of Azure Network Watcher, now supports two new Azure Storage configurations.
Azure Logic Apps updates for November and December 2019
These are the new features, fixes, and connectors for Azure Logic Apps that were released in November and December of 2019.
Azure API Management update—January 2020
A regular Azure API Management service update was started on January 22, 2019, and included the following new features, bug fixes, and changes, along with other improvements. It may take over a week for your API Management service to receive the update.
Azure Functions runtime 3.0 is now generally available
Azure Functions runtime version 3.0 is now available. Built on top of .NET Core 3.1, it enables you to write your function apps in new languages, such as .NET Core 3.1 and Node 12.
SAP HANA using Azure Backup now available in several Asia regions
The Azure Backup solution to backup SAP HANA DBs in Azure Virtual Machines is now available in Australia Central, Australia Central 2, Australia East (AE), Australia Southeast (ASE), Japan East (JPE), Japan West (JPW), Korea Central (KRC), and Korea South (KRS).
SAP HANA using Azure Backup now available in several Europe regions
The Azure Backup solution to backup SAP HANA DBs in Azure Virtual Machines is now available in West Europe (WE), North Europe (NE), France Central, France South, UK West (UKW), Germany North, Germany West Central, Germany Central, Germany North East, Switzerland North, and Switzerland West.
Azure Databricks Is now HITRUST certified
Azure Databricks is now certified for the HITRUST Common Security Framework (HITRUST CSF®), the most widely coveted security accreditation for the healthcare industry. With this certification, health care customers can now use volumes of clinical data to drive innovation using Azure Databricks, without any worry about security and risk.
