Automation schedules support time zones and daylight saving
Published date: July 07, 2016
Azure Automation schedules now support time zones and adjust for daylight saving based on the schedule’s time zone.
To create a schedule, navigate to Assets > Schedules > Add in the Azure portal. You can modify the schedule to be in the time zone of your choice. The time zone that you select is used to adjust for daylight saving time.
You also can use this feature in Azure Resource Manager cmdlets for Automation by specifying the timezone parameter, which takes either an IANA ID (America/New_York) or a Windows Time Zone ID.
