General Availability: Script Action for Azure HDInsight

You can now customize your Azure HDInsight clusters with projects that are available from the Apache Hadoop ecosystem, a portfolio of fast-moving, open-source projects. The new Script Action feature can modify Hadoop clusters in arbitrary ways by using custom scripts, so you can experiment with and deploy Hadoop projects that were not possible before. To demonstrate the power of this capability, we’ve provided samples for Spark, R, Giraph, and Solr.For more information, please visit the HDInsight page.
