General Availability: Internal Load Balancing

Internal load balancing (ILB) is now generally available. Starting today cloud services using Internal load balanced endpoints is subject to the same service-level agreement coverage that is offered in Azure.With Internal load balancing, customers can host their middle tier or backend applications behind a private IP address that is visible only within their cloud service or Virtual Network. Great examples of such applications are corpnet facing internal SharePoint sites, Virtual machines running SQL databases, and middle tier applications running core business logic.
