Name changes and GUID migration: App Service Basic and Standard plans

Published date: June 12, 2018

With Azure App Service, you can quickly build, deploy, and scale enterprise-grade web, mobile, and API apps running on any platform.

To help App Service customers better understand their App Service resource consumption by operating platform, the new App Service on Linux Standard plan (Basic, Standard, and Premium) is generally available. On July 1, 2018, GUID migration and name changes will take effect automatically. Modify your billing records and processes to reflect the new meter names and resource GUIDs, as needed.

Note: These changes will not affect Azure App Service pricing or operation.

See the following tables for the Standard plan GUID migration details and new names.
