FastTrack for Azure provides direct assistance from Azure engineers, working hand-in-hand with customers and partners, to help customers build Azure solutions quickly and confidently. Activate Azure is a four-day on-site engagement with a Microsoft Services engineer aimed at deploying the initial, low-friction Azure workload through proof-of-concept activities. A customer who is eligible and ready for FastTrack for Azure is typically beyond an Activate Azure engagement.
If a customer is working with you (a third-party partner), Microsoft Enterprise Services or Microsoft Premier Support, the FastTrack team will engage with the customer and the other party to ensure that both have the resources needed to successfully deploy Azure solutions.
No. FastTrack for Azure is an advisory service and the engineers provide guidance for Azure solution deployment by the in-house resources or partner.
No. While all Microsoft FastTrack programs help customers get to the cloud with confidence, FastTrack for Azure and Office 365 have different engagement models and triggers for consideration. FastTrack for Azure is nomination-based, has eligibility criteria and is staffed by full-time Azure engineering employees. Also in FastTrack for Azure, customers engage directly with Microsoft.
