Public preview: At scale discovery and assessment for SQL Server migration to Azure SQL

Azure Migrate’s unified discovery and assessment capabilities for Windows, Linux, and SQL server now allow you to discover SQL Server instances and databases running in your VMware environment at scale, and assess them for migration to Azure. This preview capability lets you understand the following for your on-premises SQL Server instances and databases:
- Readiness for migration to Azure SQL
- Recommended target deployment type in Azure – Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance or Azure VM
- Migration blockers and warnings for migration to Azure SQL
- Right-sized Azure SQL configurations (SKUs) and corresponding monthly cost estimates
