We identified an issue with the Windows Azure SDK 1.4 refresh that causes Windows Azure Connect endpoints to fail to deploy on Windows Azure Roles built using the Windows Azure SDK 1.4 refresh.  If you downloaded and installed the Windows Azure SDK 1.4 refresh from the Windows Azure web site anytime prior to 4:00 PM PST  Monday, April 25, 2011, you will have to uninstall and reinstall it.

Here are the steps to install the updated version of the Windows Azure SDK 1.4 refresh:

  1. Go to Control PanelProgramsPrograms and Features, uninstall the Windows Azure SDK 1.4 refresh.
  2. Reinstall the updated version of the Windows Azure SDK 1.4 refresh from the Windows Azure web site.

We apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused.  Please visit the Windows Azure platform forums if you have any questions or need more information.
