Backup Storage for Windows Server
This restricted offer provides qualified Windows Server customers up to 800 GB of Azure Backup per month at no charge for two months.
Any unused amount that is included in this offer cannot be carried over to the next billing cycle and cannot be transferred to other Azure subscriptions.
We require a credit card or debit card to authenticate you when you sign-up. Your credit card will initially NOT be charged as your new account has a $0 Spending Limit. If you use more in a month than the above amounts, you will exceed your $0 Spending Limit and your service will be disabled for that month. Your service will be re-enabled at the start of your next billing period and, while your storage accounts and databases are retained with no loss of data, you will need to redeploy your hosted service(s). If you choose to turn off your Spending Limit, any overage, i.e., monthly usage in excess of the above amounts, will be charged at the Pay-As-You-Go rates. Read more about how Spending Limit works.
You will be notified at least 30 days in advance of any changes to the Pay-As-You-Go rates. Any taxes which may result from receiving services at no charge are the sole responsibility of the recipient.

You may cancel this subscription at any time. Payment is required for any outstanding fees incurred.
The following monthly usage quotas are applied. If you need more than these limits, please contact customer service at any time so that we can understand your needs and adjust these limits appropriately.
Cloud Services and Virtual Machines
The standard quota is 20 concurrent Standard Small (A1) compute instances or an equivalent number of other types or sizes of compute instances as determined by using the compute instance quota conversion table below.

5 concurrent storage accounts
An object is an entry in the directory service, represented by its unique distinguished name. An example of an object is a user entry used for authentication purpose.
If you exceed the above quotas for a given month, you will still be responsible for charges that exceed the quotas. We also reserve the right to disable your account in any month that you exceed the quota, but we will make multiple attempts to contact you by e-mail before doing so. There are additional situations that may require us to disable a customer's account, including non-payment of fees. For further details, please refer to our Online Services Use Rights for the Azure platform that is published on our legal page.
Service Level Agreements
We offer a set of robust service level agreements for each of the Azure platform services. More details on each of our SLAs can be found on our SLA page. Service level agreements are not provided for services during preview.
All increases in usage levels of service resources (e.g. adding to the number of compute instances running, or increasing the amount of storage in use) are subject to the availability of these service resources. Any quota described in the Usage Quotas section is not a commitment that there will be sufficient resources available for you to reach the quota.
For any subscriptions of this offer that are not incurring charges and are inactive for over 90 days, we reserve the right to remove any compute resources including hosted service(s), virtual machines and websites. Please note that no data would be deleted and customers can redeploy at any time. We will also provide advance notice prior to removing any compute resources.
You can also avoid having your compute resources removed by doing either of the following every 90 days:
- Log into either the current management portal or the new preview portal
- Access your hosted service(s) via our Azure APIs
