General availability: Additional Azure ExpressRoute peering locations
ExpressRoute lets you extend your on-premises networks into the Microsoft cloud over a private connection with the help of a connectivity provider or a direct connection with ExpressRoute Direct. With ExpressRoute, you can establish connections to Microsoft cloud services, such as Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.

With ExpressRoute Direct, you can enable rate-limiting for your circuit to match the traffic volume with the configured bandwidth rate.

ExpressRoute Direct customers can now generate an authorization key for your ExpressRoute Direct resource and use it to make an ExpressRoute Circuit in a different subscription.
