Azure Maps Native SDK for Android and iOS will be retired on 31 March 2025 – transition to use Azure Maps Web SDK in a web view

Azure Maps Native SDK for Android and iOSwill be retired on 31March 2025, please transition to use Azure Maps Web SDK in a web view by that date. 
Azure Maps team is retiring Native SDK for Android and iOS. In Lieu, Azure Maps has deployed Web SDK Map Control version 3. The Web SDK Map Control version 3 offers various enhancements. You can continue to use the Native SDK for Android and iOS until 31March 2025 without disruption. On 31March 2025 workloads running the Native SDK for Android and iOS will be deleted, and any associated application data will be lost. Resources to aid in your migration can be found below.

Required action

To avoid service disruptions, please follow our instructions to migrate to the replacement product by 31 March 2025.
