Azure PowerShell ‘Az’ Module version 1.0
There is a new Azure PowerShell module, built to harness the power of PowerShell Core and Cloud Shell, and maintain compatibility with Windows PowerShell 5.1. Its name is Az.
Azure PowerShell 1.3.0 – PowerShell Gallery installation improvements
In release 1.3.0, the installation experience from the PowerShell Gallery is significantly improved. Install the AzureRM module using Install-Module AzureRM. You no longer need to execute any additional cmdlets to download and install the Azure Resource Manager cmdlets.
