Today we shipped a new and improved Azure Status (formerly – Service Health Dashboard). The new health dashboard, available on status.azure.com shows the overall health of the platform and for each of our services, and gives unauthenticated users the information they need in order to know what’s going on in case something goes wrong. You can can also subscribe to a RSS feed and be notified on every new incident we experience.

Current Status

The Current Status tab shows the current health status of the platform, broken down to the service/region level. In case of a live incident, we show the incident information including the impacted services and regions and the latest update on the mitigation process.

The page auto-refreshes every few minutes and allows you to fully customize the list of regions and services they want to display, making it a live personalized dashboard.

History

The History tab lets you browse for historical incidents to learn about our platform health in the past or to check if something happened lately. You can also filter by services and regions, as well as by date ranges.

Take a look at the new page, subscribe to the feed and provide feedback by posting it on our feedback forum. Don’t forget to update your bookmarks to the new status.azure.com address and update your RSS subscriptions before the old ones are deprecated on July 14^th.
