General Availability: Universal cross-region read replica on Azure Database for MySQL - Flexible Server

The new read-replica in universal regions feature allows you to replicate your data from an instance of Azure Database for MySQL - Flexible Server to a read-only server in a universal region, which could be any region from the list of Azure supported regions where flexible server is supported. You can use universal cross-region read replicas for read-only traffic and to provide protection from regional disasters. Learn more.
