In March 2018, Microsoft announced general availability of Azure Database for PostgreSQL. A simple and fully managed database service for PostgreSQL that removes the complexities around infrastructure management, data availability, protection, and scale.

We are excited to announce the upcoming general availability (GA) of the General Purpose service tier in Azure SQL Database Managed Instance on October 1, 2018!
