Legacy media encoders are being retired on 30th November, 2019

Over the last several years, we have been making steady improvements to the encoding features of Azure Media Services. The Media Encoder Standard (MES) and Premium Workflow (MEPW) encoder capabilities provide significant improvements in terms of capability, robustness, reliability, performance and price. In contrast, the legacy encoders, Windows Azure Media Encoder (WAME) and Azure Media Encoder (AME), were built on older technology. Workflows that depend on these components are now at a disadvantage.
As a result, we are retiring both the legacy components, WAME and AME, on 30th November, 2019. You will need to migrate your code to use the Media Encoder Standard (MES) or Premium Workflow (MEPW) encoder capabilities.
How does this affect me?
After 30th November, 2019, any applications that you have developed using either the legacy WAME or AME media processor may begin experiencing job failures until you update your application to the current MES or MEPW encoder capabilities.
What actions should I take?
