New region added to Azure HDInsight

Azure HDInsight is a fully managed cloud service that makes it easy, fast, and cost-effective to process massive amounts of data, using popular open-source frameworks, such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Interactive Query (LLAP), Kafka, Storm, HBase, and Microsoft R Server.
The product is now generally available in UAE Central, marking another successful milestone in bringing open source big data to a new region.
