Support for multiple node pools in Azure Kubernetes Service is now available
Published date: November 04, 2019
Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) support for multiple node pools, now generally available, allows you to use different virtual machines sizes in each pool to run various workloads in a single AKS cluster. The feature is designed to help you better manage compute resources. For example, an e-commerce website could have a node pool for billing service and another for machine-learning based recommendation service, each with potentially different virtual machine types.
