In-place major version upgrade enables you to upgrade your Azure Database for PostgreSQL - Flexible Server to a higher version without going through a complex migration process. With just one click, you can easily perform an offline in-place upgrade to optimize costs and minimize downtime, while continuing to use the same server with the same endpoint, now upgraded to the higher version. Starting today, you can use major version upgrade for Azure Database for PostgreSQL - Flexible Server in limited regions.
