ADF v2: Visual Tools enabled in public preview – Be more productive with Azure Data Factory by getting pipelines up & running quickly without requiring to write a single line of code. You can use a simple and intuitive code free interface to drag and drop activities on a pipeline canvas, perform test runs, debug iteratively, deploy & monitor your pipeline runs. This topic is also featured on Azure Friday (see video below).

Announcing the extension of Azure IP Advantage to Azure Stack – Azure IP Advantage now covers workloads deployed to Azure Stack, which extends protection benefits to cover customers consistently in the hybrid cloud. With Azure IP Advantage, Azure Stack services receive uncapped indemnification from Microsoft, including for the open source software powering these services.

Azure Analysis Services now available in East US, West US 2, and more – Azure Analysis Services is now available in 4 additional regions including East US, West US 2, USGov-Arizona and USGov-Texas. Azure Analysis Services provides enterprise-grade data modeling in the cloud as a fully-managed platform as a service (PaaS), which is integrated with Azure data platform services.
