With the increased adoption of cloud and the need to innovate at a faster pace, we find customers embracing hybrid architectures in increasing numbers and demanding high productivity integration services. At Microsoft, we want to enable our customers by providing the right tools amd services to rapidly build powerful integration solutions and easily unlock value from existing on-premises systems and other SaaS services.

Today, we are delighted that Gartner has recognized Microsoft as a leader in their Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Integration Platform as a Service (eiPaaS), 2018. Integration has traditionally been a complex and tedious process, and we believe this recognition of our Azure Integration Services help customers:

  • Easily connect applications, data, and devices taking advantage of 200+ out-of-the-box Azure Logic Apps connectors for Salesforce, Office 365, Twitter, Dropbox, Google services, and more.
  • Quickly create consistent and modern API gateways, for back-end services hosted anywhere, using Azure API Management as a turnkey solution for publishing APIs to external and internal customers.
  • Build reactive, event-driven apps connecting serverless logic to events from multiple sources.
  • Implement highly-reliable cloud messaging between applications and services, even when one or more is offline.

We are also excited about the variety of solutions customers are using Azure and happy to share with you how a mobile payment app (Vipps), a global outdoor gear and provisions clothing company (Patagonia), and a financial company that enable wire transfers to 17 Latin American countries in the United States (Intermex) are using Azure as an integration platform to connect, exchange, and trade more efficiently and in new ways with partners, suppliers, and customers.
