User-initiated failover for application fault resiliency in Azure SQL Managed Instance is now generally available

High availability is a fundamental part of the SQL Managed Instance platform; it is important to perform end to end testing of your database applications for fault resiliency in case of planned or unplanned events before deploying to production. To enhance your testing capabilities, user-initiated failover is now generally available, providing you with the capability to manually initiate an automatic failover using PowerShell, CLI commands, and API calls.
