Public Preview: PgBouncer monitoring metrics for Azure Database for PostgreSQL - Flexible Server

Azure Database for PostgreSQL – Flexible Server now offers 6 new metrics for you to monitor the performance of the PgBouncer process. The metrics include information on active connections, idle connections, total pooled connections, number of connection pools and more. Monitoring PgBouncer is essential for maintaining the performance, scalability, and security of PostgreSQL database servers. Each metric is emitted at a 30-minute frequency and has up to 93 days of history. You can configure alerts on the metrics and filter using the database-name dimension. Monitoring these metrics can help you find issues before they become critical and optimize the configuration to achieve better performance and resource usage.
