Public preview: Azure Load Testing now displays load engine health metrics

Published date: July 19, 2022

Azure Load Testing preview now gives out information on load engine health. In addition to the health metrics of the system under test, health metrics of the load engines (infrastructure delivering the test traffic) are displayed as well.
Load engine health metrics indicate whether the test infrastructure itself could be the cause of bottlenecks or the errors which are appearing in load test reports by measuring average CPU, memory, and network connectivity available.

Engine health metrics enable you to gain confidence in the test results by ensuring that the engines were healthy during the run. You can also calibrate your test by increasing or decreasing number of thread that each engine can support based on the CPU and memory consumption of the engine.
