Azure Database for MySQL - Flexible Server is a fully managed database service designed to provide more granular control and flexibility over database management functions and configuration settings. The Flexible Server architecture provides low latency, predictable performance, IOPS scaling independent of storage, and zone resiliency. Flexible Server also provides the ability to stop/start your server, burstable compute, and Reserved Instance pricing - ideal for production workloads with cost savings up to 63%. The service is generally available today in a wide variety of Azure regions.
