To help net out a very big week, I wanted to provide a summary of the top Azure discussions taking place and some useful articles from Ignite.

We announced nested virtualization support coming to Azure with Dv3 or Ev3 series at //build session last month. Today we are excited to announce that you can now enable nested virtualization using the Dv3 and Ev3 VM sizes.

We are excited to announce the general availability of our new Dv3 VM sizes. We are also changing the naming for the high memory D sizes (D11-D14) to become the Ev3 family.

I am pleased to announce that Azure Government is commercially live in two additional datacenter regions in Arizona and Texas for U.S. government customers and their partners following my announcement late last year.

The AzureCAT patterns & practices team has published nine new design patterns on the Azure Architecture Center.
