Azure Cloud Shell announces an integrated editor in collaboration with Visual Studio Code utilizing the open-source Monaco editor!

Today, I’m incredibly excited to announce that the Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) is now generally available. We are also adding five new regions including Australia East, UK South, West US, West US 2, and North Europe.

Today at Red Hat Summit 2018 in San Francisco, Microsoft and Red Hat will jointly demonstrate our OpenShift on Azure offering, the first fully managed and easiest to use version of OpenShift in the cloud.

Yesterday, Microsoft made some exciting announcements about new serverless and DevOps capabilities we’ll be contributing to the community.

It’s been about a month since we finalized the acquisition of Deis to expand the Azure Container Service and Kubernetes support on Azure.

We built an integrated workflow enabling users to build their applications on Azure using graphical and command line tools, even on devices where command line tools aren’t installed.
