Organizations are looking to accelerate innovation through improved IT operations, better platform resiliency, and a unified hybrid cloud control plane. For Red Hat and Azure customers, we’re now expanding the set of Red Hat management tools that run on Azure with the launch of the Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform on Azure. Jointly engineered and supported by Red Hat and Azure, the new offering enables customers to more easily automate Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) deployments along with Azure services and resources virtually anywhere.

Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform on Azure is delivered as an Azure managed application implementation of the Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform. By running as a managed application, the Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform on Azure is ready to use, saving users installation and configuration time. As a new managed application, it is compatible with Ansible playbooks to allow for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline operations.

Core Azure infrastructure services, such as networking and storage, are now easier to configure and deploy to RHEL servers running on Azure. Azure Arc for Servers integration extends Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform on Azure to environments that have on-premises RHEL servers, providing a unified management plane for hybrid cloud resources.
