Today we released updates to the SQL Server resource provider and MySQL resource provider for Azure Stack. These can be used in the context of App Service (Web Apps) or independently. Download the bits here. These new resource providers come with a streamlined setup/deployment while providing a more stable experience.

Please note that there is no in-place upgrade from the prior versions of these resource providers. You will have to re-deploy to take advantage of these improvements.
