Public Preview: Introducing Reporting and Microsoft Entra ID Authentication for Microsoft Playwright Testing
Related Products
We are excited to announce the public preview of reporting and Microsoft Entra ID authentication in Microsoft Playwright Testing, offering improved troubleshooting capabilities and enhanced security.
Troubleshoot easily with Reporting
The new Microsoft Playwright Testing reporting feature simplifies troubleshooting in continuous integration (CI) runs by providing detailed test results and rich artifacts like logs, screenshots, and traces. These artifacts are securely stored in a centralized location, allowing anyone on the development team to quickly access them through the Playwright portal. Hosted within the portal, teams can use the powerful Trace Viewer to more easily diagnose issues. Additionally, users can also easily configure access to these resources to improve both security and team collaboration.
Securely Authenticate with Microsoft Entra ID
To further enhance security and streamline workflows, we’ve also introduced Microsoft Entra ID as the default authentication method for Microsoft Playwright Testing. Microsoft Entra ID helps mitigate the risk of access tokens and remove friction from the developer experience.
