Retirement: Azure AI Speaker Recognition

Beginning on September 30, 2025, Azure AI Speaker Recognition will be retired, and your applications will no longer be able to access its APIs.

To continue providing speaker verification and/or speaker identification capabilities in your applications, we request you to migrate to other solutions available in the market. We encourage you to explore Nuance Gatekeeper as one of the alternative solutions.

We recommend evaluating and migrating to another solution as early as possible to allow sufficient time for transitioning enrolled profiles and tuning your applications based on the new solution’s accuracy & performance characteristics.

1. For Issue type, select Technical. 
2. For Subscription, select your subscription. 
3. For Service, select My services, then select Cognitive Services. 
4. Select the Azure resource that you are creating a support request for. 
5. For Summary, type a description of your issue. 
6. For Problem type, select Speech Services.  
7. For problem subtype, select Speaker Recognition.
