Azure AD B2C redirect URL login.microsoftonline.com will be retired on 31 August 2022

Published date: August 24, 2021

September 9, 20201 update:

Before 31 August 2022, your users will be automatically redirected from login.microsoftonline.com to b2clogin.com. This will not impact your users’ experience on Azure AD B2C. You will still need to update your apps to redirect to b2clogin.com by 31 August 2022.

Original message:

We will retire the use of login.microsoftonline.com by Azure AD B2C customers on 31 August 2022. We recommend you start using b2clogin.com as the redirect URL for apps connecting to Azure AD B2C by that date. The new b2clogin.com endpoint minimizes Microsoft branding within the URL and offers seamless redirect authentication. After 31 August 2022, login.microsoftonline.com will not be supported for Azure AD B2C.

This change does not impact Azure AD authentication. Only Azure AD B2C authentication is affected by this change.

Required action

To avoid disruption to your customers, update your apps to redirect to the b2clogin.com endpoint by 31 August 2022. Follow these steps to update your apps.
