Performance Recommendations for Azure Database for PostgreSQL now available

Azure Database for PostgreSQL can learn and adapt to users’ workloads. The generally available release of Performance Recommendations, which is one of three features comprising the Intelligent Performance feature set, provides users with a list of recommendations for creating or dropping new indexes to potentially improve the performance of their workloads. Users can opt to implement these recommendations by using the SQL command provided with each listed recommendation. The Performance Recommendations feature is enabled by a related feature, Query Store, which collects and stores query execution statistics and wait event distributions.
