General availability: Enterprise Integration Pack for Logic Apps

Published date: December 22, 2016

The Enterprise Integration Pack (EIP) for the Logic Apps feature of Azure App Service lets you build and manage B2B workloads with your trading partners by providing support for AS2, X12, and EDIFACT protocols. The EIP also includes XML processing capabilities for flat file conversion to XML, schema validation, and transformation.

The artifacts that you need to support these XML and B2B workloads are stored in an integration account. The integration account is fully integrated into the Azure portal—and is accessible via PowerShell and REST APIs—to simplify deployment and management. You can use the integration account to create trading partners and agreements, including certificates for signing and encryption with Azure Key Vault integration to help keep sensitive information safe. Integration with Microsoft Operations Management Suite for B2B workloads enables you to monitor Logic Apps so you can detect and resolve problems quickly.

For more information about the Enterprise Integration Pack, see the Overview of the Enterprise Integration Pack documentation page. For pricing, see the Logic Apps pricing model documentation page.

Logic Apps connects seamlessly to both your on-premises systems and your cloud applications. You can also use existing BizTalk Server investments and connect to cloud applications. With Logic Apps, you can use other services like Azure Machine Learning and Microsoft Cognitive Services to gain insights from your connected systems and make informed business decisions.
