General availability: Improved Python support in Visual Studio Code with Pylance

The May 2021 release of the Python extension for Visual Studio Code brings the general availability of Pylance. This is a new language server which offers a significantly improved experience for Python developers working with VS Code, thanks to better performance, improved IntelliSense, and other new features.
With Pylance and the other continued improvements to Python support in VS Code, Microsoft is committed to continue enhancing the experience of Python developers using our free code editor.
