General availability: HDInsight 3.2 supports Hadoop 2.6 and HDP 2.2

Azure HDInsight that supports Apache Hadoop 2.6 and Hortonworks Data Platform (HDP) 2.2  with faster query times is available. The Stinger.next initiative aims to bring subsecond response times to Hadoop. The first phase of Stinger.next is now in HDInsight running Hadoop 2.6. HDInsight version 3.2 deploys Hadoop 2.6 and HDP 2.2. For more information, see:
