Azure Machine Learning offers added capabilities at lower cost
Published date: September 22, 2020
Azure Machine Learning is an enterprise-grade service to rapidly build and deploy machine learning models. We are dedicated to helping customers achieve their business objectives and are making machine learning more accessible, providing greater value at a lower cost. Azure Machine Learning customers now get all the Enterprise Edition capabilities in the Basic Edition at no extra charge, to help adopt and scale machine learning more cost effectively.
Enterprise Edition capabilities such as the drag-and-drop designer, no-code automated machine learning, and ML assisted labeling are now generally available in the Basic Edition. You only pay for Azure resources used, such as compute and storage. There is no additional charge to use Azure Machine Learning.
The Azure Machine Learning Enterprise Edition, currently in preview, will retire on January 1, 2021, and starting December 21, 2020, Enterprise Edition workspaces will be automatically migrated without any disruption. The change will not cause any downtime or impact on existing deployments.
This announcement builds upon Azure Machine Learning's cost management capabilities, and we are committed to ensuring that Azure remains your platform of choice for machine learning.
