Custom .net deserializer for Azure Stream Analytics will be retired on 30 September 2024. After that date, it won't be possible to use the feature. Please transition to a JSON, AVRO, or CSV built-in deserializer by that date.
Azure Sphere version 24.03 and Azure Sphere (Integrated) are now generally available
The Azure Sphere 24.03 release includes Azure Sphere (Integrated) general availability, support for custom certificates to connect to Azure IoT Services, an updated version of cURL for the Azure Sphere OS, security fixes, SDK support for Ubuntu 24.04 pre-release, removal of SDK support for Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, and changes to the CMake toolchain.
Azure IoT Edge supports Ubuntu Core Snaps
We are expanding the Azure IoT Edge supported platforms to include Ubuntu Core Snaps on IoT Edge as a Tier 1 supported operating system.
Azure Sphere OS version 24.03 is now available for evaluation
Participate in the retail evaluation now to ensure full compatibility. The OS evaluation for this release period provides 28 days for backward-compatibility testing.

Participate in retail evaluation now to ensure compatibility. The Azure Sphere team has also updated the trusted keystore of Azure Sphere devices, resulting in an additional reboot for production devices.
Generally Available: Add an Azure Cosmos DB custom endpoint in Azure IoT Hub
Azure IoT Hub now supports the ability to setup an Azure Cosmos DB account as a custom endpoint. This will help route device data from IoT Hub to Azure Cosmos DB directly.

Ubuntu 18.04 LTS reaches the end of standard support on May 31st, 2023. To continue to receive support and security updates, we highly recommend that you update your host OS to a Tier 1 supported platform.
