Visual Studio Team Services pricing model is flexible, enabling you to customize the solution to your specific needs. The pricing is based on the following:
- Number of users in your team. Please note that stakeholders and active Visual Studio subscribers don’t count as they can be added to your Team Services account for free.
- Additional features, referred to as "extensions", that are assigned to specific users. Note, many extensions are free and can be downloaded from the Visual Studio Marketplace.
- Additional features that your team needs such as build and release.

US government entities are eligible to purchase Azure Government services from a licensing solution provider with no upfront financial commitment or directly through a pay-as-you-go online subscription.
Important—The price in R$ is merely a reference; this is an international transaction and the final price is subject to exchange rates and the inclusion of IOF taxes. An eNF will not be issued.
Azure Germany is available to customers and partners doing business in the European Union (EU), the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), and in the United Kingdom (UK). - We guarantee at least 99.9% availability to execute builds using the Visual Studio Team Services Build service.
- We guarantee at least 99.9% availability to execute Load Test Runs using the Visual Studio Team Services Cloud-based Load Testing Service.
- Availability is calculated over a monthly billing cycle.

Many customers start out by setting up a free Visual Studio Team Services account directly on visualstudio.com, in which case the account is limited to only using free services. In order to purchase Visual Studio Team Services users or additional services, you must set up billing on your Visual Studio Team Services account.

While the monthly credit does not apply toward Visual Studio Team Services purchases, you can still use this Azure subscription for billing. You’ll just need to set up a method of payment and remove the $0 spending cap. Learn more about monthly Azure credits for Visual Studio subscribers.
- Yes, your prepaid funds can be applied to all Visual Studio Team Services charges, except for third-party extensions offered in the Visual Studio Marketplace. Third-party extensions are billed separately.

All charges appear on your next monthly invoice. Charges are based on the number of users and build and deployment agents you elected to purchase during the month, plus the actual usage of build (XAML) or cloud-based load testing after the free amounts of service have been used. The free amounts of build (XAML) and cloud-based load testing reset on the first day of the month, regardless of your billing month.

Deleting a user by itself won't change the charges; you must also reduce the number of paid users via the Microsoft Azure classic portal. After making this reduction, the changes take effect at the start of the next month.

You can purchase Visual Studio Team Services users and additional services in the Microsoft Azure classic portal; Visual Studio subscriptions and Visual Studio Team Services extensions are purchased through the Visual Studio Marketplace.

You control whether we will charge your account for build (XAML) and cloud-based load testing and can set limits on usage. By default, your account is set to only allow free usage. You must explicitly enable charges within the Microsoft Azure classic portal.

When you purchase a Visual Studio Team Services user part way through the calendar month, the charges are prorated based on the number of days remaining in that month. When you reduce the number of paid users on your account, the change takes effect at the beginning of the next month.

Yes. Active Visual Studio Enterprise subscribers get one private pipeline included in Team Services accounts in which they are a member. You will see one private pipeline per Visual Studio Enterprise subscriber added in your Team Services account. Click Settings, and go to the Build and Release page.
