Data Box for data transfer
Moving stored or in-flight data into the cloud is a challenge. Data Box devices provide solutions for both scenarios.
Data Box, Data Box Disk, and Data Box Heavy are offline data transfer devices which are shipped between your datacenter and Azure. Data Boxes use standard NAS protocols (SMB/CIFs and NFS), use AES encryption to protect your data, and perform a post-upload sanitization process to ensure that all data is wiped clean from the device.
Data Box Gateway is an online data transfer product - a virtual appliance for moving data in and out of Azure.
US government entities are eligible to purchase Azure Government services from a licensing solution provider with no upfront financial commitment, or directly through a pay-as-you-go online subscription.
Important—The price in R$ is merely a reference; this is an international transaction and the final price is subject to exchange rates and the inclusion of IOF taxes. An eNF will not be issued.
Azure Germany is available to customers and partners who have already purchased this, doing business in the European Union (EU), the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), and in the United Kingdom (UK). It provides data residency in Germany with additional levels of control and data protection. You can also sign up for a free Azure trial.

Support & SLA
- We provide technical support for all Azure services released to general availability, including Azure Data Box, through Azure Support, starting at $29/month. Billing and subscription management support is provided at no cost.
- We guarantee at least 99.9% availability of the Azure Data Box & Data Box Gateway services. Availability is calculated over a monthly billing cycle.
Customers are billed when the order has reached a terminal state (i.e the order has completed without errors)
As a part of service, you get 10 days to copy data on to Data Box, these days exclude the day you received the device and the day carrier scans the package for return shipment. For each day beyond 10 days, you will be charged the Extra Day Fee.
