Azure Traffic Manager: Additional IP addresses for endpoint monitoring service.

Traffic Manager uses a probing mechanism to evaluate your application endpoints. To enhance the capacity of our probing plane, we will be increasing the number of probes deployed within Traffic Manager’s endpoint monitoring service over the next few years to continue to mitigate the large amount of growth we are experiencing. Your applications will see an increase in number of health probes and some of these probes may originate from new IP addresses.

These changes will start to go live on 21st January 2022 at 20:00 UTC.

Recommended action: If you use a network access control mechanism(e.g., Azure Firewall or Network Security Groups) and are not using Service Tags(AzureTrafficManager), please continue checking this updated list of IP addresses each Wednesday, until further notice, to ensure you allow incoming traffic from these new IP addresses. Failure to do so may cause some Traffic Manager health probes for the application endpoints to fail and may result in misrouting of traffic. No action is required access control isn’t used or network access control is utilized with AzureTrafficManagerservice tags.
