Vice President, Customer Success, Azure Infrastructure, Digital Application 

Ali is currently the Vice President of the Azure Infrastructure and Digital & Application Innovation Solution Areas of the Global Customer Success Organization at Microsoft. In this role his mission is to enable transformational scenarios with customers by driving in-depth developer-centered customer outcomes. He was previously General Manager (GM) of Customer Success in the West Region responsible for developing and executing the enterprise strategy to ensure our customers adopt and realize business value from the Microsoft cloud.  The mission of the Customer Success Organization is to enable our customers success by maximizing business value via our Cloud Solution Architects and Customer Success Managers to accelerate the growth of Azure, Microsoft 365 (Modern Workplace), and Dynamics 365 (Dynamics) cloud solutions.

Ali has held numerous roles at Microsoft, including Chief Technology Officer (CTO), where he developed and led the Consultancy, Digital Advisory, and Solution Architecture teams in the West Region for Microsoft Services.  In his role as CTO, Ali delivered successful technical and business influencing outcomes to help Microsoft top 100 enterprise customers achieve their most challenging business and organizational goals by leveraging their current and future investments in the Microsoft platform in a cloud-first, mobile-first world. 
 
Ali has over twenty (20) years of experience in the consulting industry driving business strategy, architecture, solution design and implementation, and business and IT transformation.  Over his last eighteen (18) years at Microsoft, he has built credible experience across a diverse set of industries with a concentrated focus on digital transformation, cloud strategy and adoption, and IT Optimization.  

Ali attended Bellevue University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in business information systems. He currently resides in Southern California with his wife Sophia, and their three boys.
