Low Priority VM support is now in development

Published date: March 29, 2019

For all long running services you should not use Low Priority VMSS, since these can be removed from the cluster at any time. However there are occasions such as in batch computing or short lived applications where your application can survive that VM being rapidly removed since you want the lower cost. In these occasions having a separate node type with a Low Priority VM is an option.
