This guide provides recommendations and tools for migrating the virtual machines (VMs) in the A8 to A11 sizes to the newer and more powerful high-performance computing VM sizes such as H, HB, HC, HBv2 as well as general purpose compute VM sizes such as D, E, and F for better price-performance.
Note that the A8 - A11 VM sizes will be decommissioned on 1st March 2021. Use this document as your starting point to begin planning for your migration.
