Billing for Azure SRE Agent is based on Azure Agent Units (AAU). AAUs standardize measuring agentic processing across all prebuilt Azure agents. There are two billing components: always-on flow (fixed) and active flow (variable, token-based). Active flow measures the LLM tokens your agent consumes — each token type is metered at a fixed AAU rate based on your agent's configured model. Total cost is a combination of the fixed baseline cost and incremental usage-based costs.
