Enhancements to App Service Authentication/Authorization

The App Service Authentication/Authorization feature now supports social identity providers and headless authentication flows. The Authentication/Authorization feature now includes new identity providers, new sign-in options, and greater flexibility in access control. This gives customers the richness of the gateway on a per-site basis, with an improved management experience. We recommend web and mobile applications use this feature going forward instead of the App Service gateway.To learn more, see Expanding App Service Authentication/Authorization.
